One nation, Under God

America has been always a religious country. But a recent study finds that might be changing; The percent of the country who considers themselves atheists is rising rapidly. While they still make up a small minority in comparison to the major religions, the current trends indicate that we may not be one nation, under God, forever.
Heres a look at what we believe.

  1. think you can be a bit religious and say 'one nation under god' without being a religious nutcase extremist.

  8. I believe the agnostic and unaffiliated categories are growing more than atheist, which points to the same trend, of course.

  11. It's hard to predict what will happen in the grand scheme of things. The Bible Belt takes up a good chunk of the US, but the youth of today aren't forced by parents to go to church like they did back in the 50's and 60's...

  16. I wonder how long it will be before the non-religious groups become the scapegoat for the country's problems. I think we need to be a little bit bigger of a group first, though.
